Dr. Montie Mills Meehan is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New York, Connecticut, and South Carolina. Her doctoral degree, from the New School for Social Research, is in Clinical and Developmental psychology. Her private practice is based on the Upper West side in New York with additional offices in Norwalk, Connecticut. Dr. Mills Meehan is an active member of the American Psychological Association and the New York State Psychological Association. Over the past 3 decades she has served children, adolescents, adults and families in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, businesses and privately. Currently, she works primarily with adults with a focus on couples therapy using the Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
